4 Apr 2008 - Farewell from Mr Taylor
Dear Parent,
It is nearly the end to the term and the time for me to say goodbye. Even though it has only been one term it will be hard for me to go. The children here are a delight and I shall miss their sense of humour. It will seem very quiet when I get home on Friday but I go with lots of happy memories.
Children are very adaptable and have taken on changes of headteacher without a second thought. As adults we have a lot to learn from them. I am not saying the staff here are childlike, I am not that brave, but they have coped with all the changes equally as well. They are a hardworking group and I will miss them too!
The children though reflect all the good work you have done with them and you should be proud of them as well. You have been great and very understanding of all the changes that have gone on. Thank you.
I find it very sad therefore that when we have such good parents that we have a few who still put children’s lives at risk by the way they park and even reverse on the zigzag lines outside the school. This week two sets of parents have been in to report incidents outside the school where children have been put in danger.
Please, if you see any incidents outside the school will you not tackle the person concerned but take the car numbers, give them to us, and we will pass them onto the police.

Walk Once a Week to School Scheme
The main school will be participating in the Bracknell Forest WOW (Walk on Wednesdays) Scheme during the summer term. The scheme aims to promote non-car journeys to and from school, create a safer environment around the school gate and increase the amount of physical activity children take in their every day lives by regular walking. The children have been issued with a card on which to collect a stamp for each Wednesday that they walk to school. Children who complete their stamp cards throughout the summer term will receive a free pass to Coral Reef Waterworld. It is the pupil’s responsibility to look after their collection card and have it with them on Wednesday mornings to be stamped in the playground by nominated Year 5 pupils. No card - no stamp!!!!
