9 May 2008 - Update on Mrs Kerton

Dear Parents and Carers

I am very pleased to inform you that, following her successful treatment, Mrs Kerton will be returning to work again this term. Because of the length of her absence on sick leave this will need to be done gradually as a phased return, starting off with a few days and building up to full time. Starting next week Mrs Kerton will be in school on Mondays and she will be increasing her days in school until she is back full-time during July.

During this transitional time we would ask for your patience and support. If all enquiries for the Headteacher could be directed to the school office they will ensure that it reaches the appropriate person. Mrs. Kerton, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Mansfield are in constant communication with each other.

This has been a very difficult year for the school, with all the changes which have had to be made at senior level. However I believe it is a credit to all those involved that the school has not suffered as a consequence. I would like to offer my thanks to all those who have taken on the responsibility of running the school, and to all those who work there in any capacity for the way in which they have all worked so hard together to maintain the standards we have come to expect from the school. I would also like to thank you as parents for the way you too have supported us through this period.

I now look forward to the school being able to settle down and continue to provide the excellent education on which we pride ourselves

Yours sincerely

Jack Delbridge
