14 Dec 2007 - End of Term News

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for all the support you have given the school this term and I would especially like to thank you for the kind words I have received personally. I am obviously sad to be leaving New Scotland Hill after so many years but am looking forward to my new school. This is a fantastic school with a dedicated and caring staff and I know your children will continue to have fun and learn in this very unique school which will always have a place in my heart.

The Little Red Robin

This was a wonderful production. One grandparent noted that it was ‘as good as it gets’ and I could not agree more. Once again my thanks go to the children and staff for all their hard work.

Your donations of £230 will be sent to the charities the school supports in the New Year.

Key Stage 2 Carol Service.

This will take place on Monday 17th December at in St Michael’s Church. Please ensure your child has a warm coat, a smart school uniform and school shoes - not trainers.

The children walk to the church and return to school after the service and can be collected from the playground as usual.

Lost Property

It is always dismaying to see so much lost property left at the end of a term. Despite Mrs Hall’s efforts to ensure property is claimed – she has put the items out on display in the playground and by the front entrance – we still have unclaimed property which will be recycled at the end of term. These items have now been returned to the green bin please come and check if you are missing things.

To avoid this situation please ensure all property, especially jumpers are named over the holiday.
