Children are expected to read 15 minutes each evening. Children should complete their reading records each time they read as these show preferences in literature and progress. Parents and carers are asked to hear their children read at least twice a week unless advised otherwise by the teacher. Please record your comments in the reading record. Please practice mental Maths such as times tables whenver you get a chance. These number skills are very important and the children need to know them ‘by heart’.
