School Environment
We are very fortunate to have such lovely, extensive grounds at the school. We have a large playground with climbing apparatus, sandpit for the KS1 children, play equipment and an outdoor classroom. The playing fields are used for PE lessons and for the children to play on in the summer. The children also love to play on the hill in good weather.
The Wildlife Area has recently been renovated by pupils from Wellington College and it has been transformed into a haven for wildlife.
We have had our Organic Allotment for 2 years now and children from all classes take part in planting, watering and harvesting the organic vegetables. The produce is then used in the Pupil Kitchen or for school lunches.
